Meet Brianna

Brianna Skeen Petty is a mother of one and counting and has been performing since she was 3 years old when she sang as part of the angel choir in a community production of the show The Best Christmas Pageant Ever! She was featured as a soloist in her school choirs and in Bountiful High School’s Fool’s For Jazz. She was involved in musical theater throughout Junior High and High School performing in productions from Into the Woods to White Christmas. She has performed in choirs at Abravanel Hall with the Utah Symphony and at various venues in Europe with the Utah Ambassadors of Music. She currently can be found performing in various shows at Hopebox Theatre in Kaysville, Utah.
Brianna has a Bachelor of Music degree from Utah State University in Vocal Performance and has studied with vocal instructors Laurie Hart, Dr. Carol Ann Allred, and Dr. Marilee Wilson. She has studied under professors, Dr. Cindy Dewey, Dr. Robert Breault, Dr. Craig Jessop, Dr. Cory Evans, Dr. Barlow Bradford, Thomas Glenn, Dallas Aksoy and Michael Ballam.
Though she has been performing for most of her life, Brianna didn’t have the opportunity to take voice lessons until she began studying music at the University of Utah her freshman year. Since then, she has dedicated her career to helping others receive the opportunity to learn healthy singing habits and techniques to learning and connecting with music.
Brianna led a choir at House of Hope Substance Abuse Treatment Center in Salt Lake City, Utah for two years, where her choir had opportunities to perform at many functions. She taught virtual piano lessons during the threat of covid-19 and has taught for three years at Logan Music Academy where she has instructed many students of varying ages, levels, and abilities.
Some of Brianna’s best mentors growing up were her music teachers and it is her life’s mission to “pay it forward” by being that one adult who believes in others.
